What is a temporal lift?
Temporal lift, also commonly called a brow lift or a forehead lift. Due to the aging our face features go down as well as the upper part of the face. A person with sagging eyebrows looks tired and sad. The temporal lift procedure helps to improve a younger look. Usually, the forehead lift is combined with the upper eyelid surgery.
What is the process of the temporal lift?
First of all, Dr Gence has to examine your face, skin type and the other factors. After the examination if you are a good candidate for the temporal lift, we will suggest the most suitable date for your procedure.
Temporal lift operation is performed under a general anesthesia and usually takes around 1,5 – 2 hours. The patient spend one night the the hospital.
The incisions are made above the top of the hair growth line so that the scars are not visible. Straight after the procedure there is some swelling that disappears within 2-3 weeks. The final result is expected after 6 months.
