The Life Story of Dr. Hakan Gence

Born in 1978 in Ankara, Dr. Hakan Gence completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. Between 1996 and 2002, he attended Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree. Afterward, from 2003 to 2009, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, successfully completing his residency.

From 2009 to 2011, Dr. Gence served at Kars State Hospital, performing over 1000 surgeries during his compulsory service. In 2011, he began working at Istanbul Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital and, in 2012, joined the Esteworld Health Group. There, Dr. Hakan Gence helped international patients achieve their desired appearance and later fulfilled his dream of opening his own clinic, advancing his career with steady steps. Certified by both European and Turkish plastic surgery board.

Dr. Hakan Gence is a board member of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association. While sharing his experience and knowledge with future generations, he also aims to help his colleagues achieve higher standards in their practices.

With numerous scientific publications, Dr. Gence sees aesthetic surgery not only as a profession but as an art, and he is known for his innovative approach in this field. Having a deep interest in both art and sports, Dr. Gence hosts many local artists’ works in his new clinic in Fenerbahçe, one of Istanbul’s most prestigious neighborhoods, where he welcomes his patients. In addition, he maintains his mental and physical health by staying active, playing volleyball, american billiards, and yachting.

Dr. Hakan Gence is also a father to a son and a daughter.
